Huaweis MediaPad X1 7.0 may be a NEXUS 7 competitor!!

Hii guys! When we talk about 7 inch tablets with FHD feature then the first name which come in our mind is  Google Nexus 7 in the market currently. But now Huawei has came up a brand new FHD tablet that will give head to head challenge to the ultimate Nexus 7. The tablet is named as the Huawei MediaPad X1 7.0, with a 1,920 x 1,200 display. Its not clear that the X1's 1.6GHz quad-core Hisilicon processor will outperform the Snapdragon S4 Pro inside the Nexus, but the device will be a featherweight  with just 0.3 inches thick and the 3G option will be also available.
The only drawback of new Huawei Mediapad is that it will run on Android Jell Bean 4.2 in comparison to Nexus 7 which is powered by tasty Kitkat. The company hasnt said when it might reveal the new MediaPad, but the announcement can be made any time in the upcoming year.
The upcoming Huawei Mediapad will be available in two colours that is black and white with dimensions 183.5 103.9 7.5 (mm) and weight of just 239 g. We will let you know when Huawei makes any official announcement about the Huawei MediaPad X1. Till then stay tuned to Tech Gyaan for more upcoming updates.

Till then LOVE Technology and Love your Gadgets.THANKS...

             Sony Xperia Z1 Compact review

Last year, Sony finally reached the end of the alphabet with its Xperia Z. It wasn't just that the company ran out of letters, though: With the Xperia Z, we saw Sony streamline its scattered phone strategy, piping all its attention into a single high-end device. Then, it followed up with the Z1, which brought a massive 20.7-megapixel camera.
Today, we once again have a new phone to talk about, except it's perhaps not the device you might have been expecting. Nope, this isn't a Z2, and no it doesn't bring an even higher-resolution camera. Instead, Sony's joining the small-flagship club, with the Xperia Z1 Compact. Interestingly, unlike some of its rivals, Sony is promising that you won't have to compromise on features for the sake of a more pocket-friendly handset. At 440 SIM-free in the UK, that apparently includes a no-compromise price, too. By the looks of it, though, Sony has worked hard to stick with the same specs as the original -- bar, of course, the screen size. So, I think This is good Handset but for somewhat expensive price range....

Samsung unveils S4 black Editions!!!!:

Those Samsung fans who were impressed by the faux leather back cover of the Galaxy Note 3, but thought the phablet was just too large for their liking have a couple of new options. The Korean company has unveiled the Black Editions of its Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Mini smartphones in Russia sporting the very same faux leather back panels in black paint jobs. Both the devices are, otherwise, exactly similar to their regular fingerprint magnet hyperglazed finish toting variants.
The Galaxy S4 Black Edition features a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080p resolution protected by Gorilla Glass 3, and is powered by a 1.9 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU paired with 2GB RAM. A combination of 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel front facing snapper handle imaging responsibilities. The device runs on Touchwiz-ed version of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, with KitKat expected to land very soon on its door steps. A 2600 mAh battery unit is packed within the 7.9mm thick body.

Apple's iWatch and iOS 8 are reportedly fitness-focused

Hii guys !!
We still don't know exactly what Apple's long-rumored smart watch is, or what it's called -- yes, iWatch is probably right -- but a report today from 9to5Mac posits a whole heap of new information. First, the wearable works in concert with "Healthbook," a new internal app intended to track various fitness (steps, distance, etc.) and health metrics (blood pressure, heart rate, etc.). Second, it looks like Healthbook -- at least currently -- is a crucial part of iOS 8, and when paired with iWatch (or whatever it's called) the two are "able to monitor several other pieces of health and fitness data." It's unclear exactly what that means. Like it's name, Healthbook is apparently pretty similar to Passbook, and you'll be able to swipe through various "cards" with health information.
Of course, none of this should come as a tremendous shock (though it's all still firmly in the rumor bin) -- word of Apple working on a wearable has been floating for quite some time, and it's past the point of coincidence. Between Apple hiring wearable electronics engineers (notable ones!), meeting with FDA regulators about "mobile medical applications," and the competition already staking a firm claim in the nascent smart watch market, no one following the tech news beast should be shocked. That's to say nothing of the dedicated chip inside Apple's latest iPhone (seen above). Regardless, with nothing officially announced just yet, we've reached out to Apple for more.

WHAT new in PlayStation VITA???

Decisions, decisions, decisions. Saying it three times won't make things any easier, but that's where we come in. Sony's latest iteration of the PlayStation Vita handheld, which we're going to call the Vita Slim from now on (as seems to be the fashion), is coming to the UK, having previously only been available in Asia. It's up for pre-order right now and will launch a week from today -- so, do you want one? The choice is ultimately yours, of course, and it's a delicate one, but if the pressure is too much to bear, then head past the break where we explore how the Slim stacks up against the Vita of old, and whether it's really worth the extra 50 (or roughly $80, in US terms) for a console that delivers essentially the same experience.
Hardware
Now, we're not here to tell you that the PS Vita is an essential purchase -- whichever version you're looking at. If you're unfamiliar with the handheld, or perhaps the PlayStation brand as a whole, then it's really a matter of how you like to game on the go. Are you more Killzone than Brain Training, more Need for Speed than Mario Kart, or maybe you're happy killing commute time with a bit of Angry Birds and don't need another device at all? If you're going in blind, then it's probably best to start with a quick browse of the Vita's game catalog, and check out our full reviews of the original and Slim models to get acquainted.
The Vita, in general, is serious and well-built hardware. Dual thumbsticks, a 5-inch touchscreen display, another touch panel on the rear, stereo speakers and two cameras facing forward and back. Most importantly, it delivers the best graphics of any handheld, verging on last-gen console territory.
As the Vita Slim isn't a sequel, you'll find everything mentioned across both iterations, so what's the hook? As you've probably guessed, the Vita Slim is everything the Vita is, but in a smaller package: 20 percent thinner and 15 percent lighter, to be exact. At 15mm thick and weighing 219g, it's still not pocket-sized by any means, but the nip and tuck's welcome nonetheless, alongside a few other minor revisions that make it more comfortable to hold.
(Note: The white model in the comparison shot above is available in Japan only. The UK Slim model is black.)
This is one of the main draws of the Vita Slim -- it's just that bit more portable. Beyond aesthetic changes, there's a far more important improvement to battery life. Instead of three to five hours of game time on the original Vita, you're looking at around eight hours with the Slim. Forgetting price difference, it's hard to recommend the old Vita on that stat alone. If a portable console can't manage a decent-length plane ride without needing a recharge, then we should revisit the definition of portable.
How did Sony achieve this with less space to work with? Well, that's the one drawback of the Vita Slim. It's dropped the OLED display of the OG Vita for an LCD panel, which is where much of the power savings come from. There's no getting around it: The OLED panel is better. Color representation and viewing angles trump those of the LCD screen, but unless you're a huge videophile, you'll likely appreciate the extra battery life way more. The screen may've been downgraded, but that's not to say it's of poor quality.
The Vita Slim is different in two other respects: It's equipped with WiFi only, whereas the older model has a 3G option, and it has 1GB of internal storage where the other has none. We can't imagine the lack of 3G is a dealbreaker for anyone, which is probably why Sony couldn't be bothered with a cellular variant. A gig of storage might not sound like much; it won't go a long way, and you can pick up a 4GB Vita-specific memory card (thanks, Sony) for under a tenner. Getting 1GB free, though, is just one less thing to think about when you tear it from the box and wanna dive right in. In a pure hardware match-up, we'd have to put our money on the Vita Slim, but how much money are we talking about exactly?
Price
A number of sites have now opened up pre-orders for the Vita Slim, and although it's more expensive than the older model, it's still a significant savings over the WiFi-only OG model that launched in 2012 for 230. Yes, it's still way more expensive in the UK than in its home country of Japan, but you're British and should be used to paying more for everything, so suck it up. A couple of retailers -- Amazon, Game, Simply Games and ShopTo, for example -- have stuck to Sony's RRP of 180 for the console alone. (There are other sites asking as much as 200, but let's ignore those.) The latter two retailers are also plugging bundles that add just a fiver to the price of the handheld alone. ShopTo has the greatest selection, bundling the Vita Slim with a number of single, high-profile titles, or download vouchers and memory cards. The best deal seems to be the Slim with 10-game download voucher plus a 16GB memory card, which you'll need to store those voucher titles on anyway. Sure, most are old, but there are a few gems such as Wipeout, and that 16GB card is worth around the price of Vita game itself.
Currently, ShopTo also appears to have the best deal on the original Vita, with the WiFi and 3G model priced at only 130. This appears to be a transient deal, however, and most other retailers have the same model on offer for 140 to 150. At this point, we wouldn't entertain the thought of getting an OG Vita bundle, as their prices haven't reacted to the Slim's impending arrival. Game is selling the same 185 Slim bundle we listed above with the old Vita for 155, but even this deal should see a reduction when the Slim's launch has had a chance to impact retailer pricing.
Wrap-up
We're sure OG Vita bundles will be revised in due course, but for early Slim adopters, those with a refreshed interest in the Vita or those thinking about upgrading, this is how things stand at the moment. Some PS fans will no doubt jump at the Slim due to the "shiny factor" (it's new; gotta have it), but unless you can trade in or sell your current Vita for a fair price, we wouldn't bother upgrading. Definitely not before the price of the Slim comes down, anyway. If you're sure now is the time to get Vita'd up, then ShopTo's 130 offer for the original model is certainly tempting. If you can stretch to 185 though, go for one of the Slim bundles with a 16GB memory card thrown in. Any console is an investment, however late you are to the party, and due solely to the portability improvements the Slim boasts, we'd call it the smarter one.

Bluebird's BM180:can run both android as well as windows..!!

There's been a lot of talk in the past couple of weeks about whether Android and Microsoft's Windows Phone OS could and should coexist on a single device and/or form factor.

It turns out that at least one OEM already has put Android and an embedded variant of the Windows Phone OS on a single form factor. That OEM is Bluebird, a Korean handheld mobile device provider.

Bluebird announced the new five-inch device, which it is calling BM180, on January 17. The press release announcing the device interestingly doesn't mention Android at all; it focuses on Windows Embedded 8 Handheld, which is based on the Windows Phone 8 core. (There's also a new BP30 model mentioned in Bluebird's press release, which is an even more ruggedized version of the BM180.)

Thanks to a tip from @WP_Downunder's "Sheeds," I was able to grab the full specs and details about the coming device before they seemingly disappeared from Bluebird's Web site, which has been largely unavailable today.

According to Bluebird's brochure, the BM180 the "world('s) first & biggest screen smart terminal." It can run either Android 4.2 or the preview version of Windows Embedded 8 Handheld in "one form factor.".

Various reports have claimed that Microsoft has held discussions with hardware makers about the possibilities of putting Android and Windows Phone both on a single device. I've heard the more likely discussions have been around creating single form-factor phones that could be provisioned to run either Android or the Windows Phone OS by customers and/or carriers. Microsoft officials have declined to comment on those reports.

Bluebird is one of a handful of OEMs which announced it was joining Microsoft's Windows Embedded 8 Handheld program in January 2013. The other original four partners in the program were Honeywell, Ingenico, Intermec and Motorola Solutions. (Panasonic announced at this year's NRF its intentions to build a Windows Embedded 8 Handheld device, as well.) In January 2013, Bluebird officials said they wanted their unannounced Embedded 8 Handheld device "to be the first on the market."

The Windows Embedded 8 Handheld operating system is built on the Windows Phone 8 core. Developers can write applications for Windows Embedded 8 Handheld ruggedized devices by using the Windows Phone 8 SDK. Because of the compatibility with Windows Phone 8, these devices will be able to support off-the-shelf business and productivity apps like Microsoft Lync, Office 365 and Dynamics for Retail, Microsoft officials have said.

A year ago, Microsoft officials said to expect the first ruggedized handheld phones running Windows Embedded 8 Handheld to be in the market in late 2013 or early 2014. I just learned today that Microsoft quietly RTM'd the Windows Embedded 8 Handheld operating system in August 2013, and released it to its OEMs at that time.

Bluebird's press release noted that the new ruggedized handhelds are targeted at enterprise customers (not consumers) and that some unnamed "major" U.S. retailers are in line to buy these devices.

So what to make of this single form factor running a choice of Android or a Windows Phone OS variant? Is it a precedent of similar things to come on the consumer side of mobile devices? Personally, I'm not sure at this point.
